Background - Rachel (24) and her girlfriend Chloe (28) live together in a flat in the city.

They’re highly sociable and enjoy nights out with friends most weekends. The couple also run a business together. Friends describe the couple as being ‘solid’, but say that they argue often.

On October 9, a friend of Rachel contacted the police to report that Chloe had threatened to share intimate images of her without her consent.

EVIDENCE

"I feel like I’ve been violated. What she did broke my trust and I don’t feel like I can move on and need Chloe to know that what she has done is wrong."

"It was quite late on in the night when Chloe got talking to a random girl at the bar. I think they were buying her shots or something… Anyway Rach got jealous, saw red and went mental at Chloe who then left the club. We were with Rach later on when she got a text from Chloe. She was threatening to share some dirty pics of Rach on social media to get back at her."
